| I have titled this collection Mosaic because it is largely composed of artwork containing pieces of torn paper that I have created. The definition of mosaic is a picture or pattern produced by arranging together small colored pieces of material so I feel the title suits this style perfectly. From cardboard, tissue paper, rice paper, red rosin paper and the list continues. There is no limit to the types of paper that I use to create these pieces. Acrylic paint is used to fuse them all together to make one cohesive piece of art. I love the texture that each piece adds to the overall uniqueness of each work of art. |
